We were contracted by the South African Department of Justice (via UNICEF South Africa) to evaluate the satisfaction of sexual-offences victims with services in criminal courts.

  • Presented 'Introducing the Child Witness' training course to police, prosecutors, magistrates and social workers in Windhoek, Namibia from 22 to 26 February 2016.
  • Conducted a Training-of-Trainers course with police, prosecutors, magistrates and social workers in Swartkopmund, Namibia from 11 to 22 April 2016.
  • Dr Karen Muller and Ms Karen Hollely were invited as guest speakers at the National Conference on Child Online Protection held on the 18th and 19th May 2016 in Windhoek.
  • Dr Karen Muller was invited to deliver a Master Lecture at the 1st Annual Judicial Conference: Namibia on 'Securing Justice for the Child Witness' to the Judiciary in Windhoek, Namibia on the 1st to 4th August 2016.

  • Conducted 'Legislation Pertaining to Sexual Offences' training course with members of South African Police Services in Mpumalanga from 14 to 16 March 2016.
  • Conducted 'Sex Offenders who target Children' training course with members of South African Police Services in Mpumalanga from 17 to 19 March 2016.
  • Conducted a 5-day training course, entitled 'Responding to Sexual Violence in Schools', with educators from the Peddie area in the Eastern Cape from 25 to 29 July 2016.
